Students from the Technical University – Sofia visited the company “Dimitrov”

Students and their teachers from the Technical University – Sofia were greeted with roses and “Welcome”. They study various specialties in connection with the design and technology of clothing, as well as engineering design.

Visiting young people and attracting them as highly qualified specialists in “Dimitrov” is not an exception, but already a tradition. The owner Magdalen Dimitrov told the students how he started the business back in 1993, about his ambition to work for the biggest fashion brands in the industry, about the long path of success and the creation of his own brands.

“I am glad that there are young people who want to meet Dimitrov and look at our production,” he said, emphasizing that the Dimitrov Group produces fashion. The initiative gives students the opportunity to participate in the various programs offered by the Pleven company – internship, scholarship and training and development.

Young people, future designers and fashion professionals, looked with great interest at the production lines for Hugo Boss, the path of jackets and pants – from fabric to ready-made men’s clothing. The students were most impressed by Dimitrov’s newest factory, where the luxury clothes of Armani and Desizo Monni are made.

They were shown modern sewing machines and unique ironing presses that make the perfect men’s clothing, combining style and quality. They also got acquainted with the organization of production and quality control, which is leading in the work for such brands. The Dimitrov Group aims to attract ambitious young professionals – designers, fashion designers and creative managers.

Programs for future cooperation between the university and the company were also discussed.
